Dancin’ Dean
Dancin’ Dean is known for his fun, approachable teaching style and his ability to make dancers of all levels feel welcome on the floor. His passion for line dance has always centered around creating an encouraging environment where dancers can learn, laugh, and build confidence together.
Over the years, Dean has taught at events and venues throughout the region, including Mishnock & Friends and the Queen City Line Dance Classic. Whether teaching absolute beginners or experienced dancers looking to sharpen their skills, Dean brings energy, patience, and a genuine love for the community to every class.
Brandon Zahorsky
Brandon Zahorsky is an internationally recognized choreographer and instructor whose dances are celebrated in honky-tonks, dance halls, and events around the world. Known for his high-energy choreography and dynamic teaching style, Brandon blends country and hip-hop influences into dances that consistently fill dance floors and create unforgettable crowd moments.
Brandon has taught at major dance events across the United States and internationally, including Mishnock & Friends and the Queen City Line Dance Classic. His passion for connecting with dancers and delivering exciting, entertaining experiences has made him a favorite among both social dancers and competitive dancers alike.

Do I need to be an advanced dancer?
No! This event is open to dancers of all levels.
Dances taught throughout the weekend will range from beginner to intermediate and will be taught at the appropriate level for each class. While some portions of the Saturday workshop may be more comfortable for experienced dancers, all are welcome to participate.
Our beginner lesson and evening socials are specifically designed to be welcoming, approachable, and enjoyable for everyone — whether it’s your first event or your hundredth weekend on the dance floor.
Will the weekend feature only country music?
No. Dean and Brandon are known for their honky-tonk style, which blends country music with hip-hop, pop, and other popular dance genres. The weekend is designed to provide a fun and diverse dance experience rather than focusing on a single style of music.
During the evening social, music selections will also be influenced by the dancers attending through our request system. We will do our best to create a playlist that keeps everyone engaged and on the dance floor.
How close is the venue to Charlotte Douglas International Airport (CLT)?
The venue is approximately 25 minutes from Charlotte Douglas International Airport (CLT), depending on traffic.
Typical UberX or UberXL costs are estimated between $25–$35 each way.
Can I attend only the socials?
Yes. Dancers are welcome to attend the Friday and Saturday evening socials without purchasing the full workshop pass.
Admission for social-only attendees will be accepted at the door only. Cash is preferred.
Dancers with a Full Weekend Pass already have both socials included with their registration.
Will there be a set playlist for the socials?
No. Our goal is to cater to the dancers attending the event and maintain the flexibility to adjust music selections based on the energy and dynamics of the floor throughout the evening.
Requests will play an important role in shaping the socials, and we want the weekend to feel welcoming and enjoyable for a wide variety of dancers and styles.
For larger groups attending together, we recommend designating one person to submit requests on behalf of the group to help ensure your dancers and favorite styles are well represented throughout the weekend.
Can I register at the door?
Yes, registrations will be accepted at the door space permitting.
However, we strongly encourage pre-registration to secure your spot and take advantage of discounted pre-registration pricing.
Workshop pass pricing at the door will increase by $10 for both workshop pass options.
Will Dean wear his hat?
We certainly are hopefull that he will.
